Bharat Coking Coal Ltd Litigation Case Disposed by Jharkhand High Court

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) has announced the disposal of a writ petition (W.P. (Cr.) No. 652 of 2022) filed by Mahendra Singh before the Hon'ble High Court of Jharkhand at Ranchi. The petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, sought directions to arrest accused persons in a case dated July 13, 1989. BCCL was impleaded on the grounds that some accused were its erstwhile employees. The High Court, vide its order dated June 30, 2026, has disposed of the petition without passing any adverse directions against the company. Consequently, the litigation previously disclosed in offer documents stands closed.
