Bharat Dynamics Ltd Responds to Clarification on Rs 2,000-3,000 Crore Order for Invar Missiles

Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) has responded to clarifications sought by stock exchanges regarding a news item that appeared on Moneycontrol.com on May 27, 2025. The news item was titled 'Govt readies Rs 2,000 crore-3,000 crore order to buy Invar missiles from Bharat Dynamics'. BDL, a PSU under the Ministry of Defence, stated that there is no requirement for negotiation as their contracts are confidential and classified in nature. Disclosing information could be detrimental to national security. BDL also stated that they are not aware of any information that has not been announced to the exchanges which could explain the movement in the trading. There are no legal proceedings in this regard as of the date of this response.
