Bharat Dynamics Ltd. to Inaugurate Two Additional Manufacturing Facilities in Hyderabad and Jhansi

Bharat Dynamics Ltd. (BDL) is establishing two new manufacturing facilities at Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad, Telangana and Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The Ibrahimpatnam facility will include eight assembly lines for new weapon systems, rocket motor testing facility, and war head penetration testing facility. The Jhansi facility will be set up for manufacturing propellants and bulk manufacturing of grad rockets, with in-house R&D development of new energetics. The inauguration of these facilities is expected shortly, with production commencing in the financial year 2026-27. The move is in line with BDL's current order book of around Rs.26000 crore and an anticipated additional order inflow of Rs.15000 Crore in the financial year 2026-27.
