
Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) Achieves Record Turnover of Rs. 19,700 Cr in FY 2023-24, registers a growth of 13.65%
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) announced its provisional and unaudited turnover for the financial year 2023-24, which stood at around Rs. 19,700 Crores, marking a significant increase from the previous year's turnover of Rs. 17,333 Cr. The company managed to secure orders worth around Rs. 35,000 Cr during this period, with a total order book value of around Rs. 76,000 Cr. Export sales grew by 92% to US$ 92.98 Million, and the export order book stood at USD 407 million as of April 1, 2024. Shri Bhanu Prakash Srivastava, Chairman & Managing Director, BEL, attributed the success to the company's focus on research and development, in-house R&D efforts in collaboration with DRDO, academia, and industry partners. BEL's exports also contributed to the Ministry of Defence's vision of maximising Defence exports.
