Bharat Forge & Turgis Gaillard to Propose AAROK UAV for India's MALE UAV Requirements

Indian company Bharat Forge Ltd. and French company Turgis Gaillard have signed an MoU to offer AAROK UAV, a MALE-class UAV, to the Indian Ministry of Defence. AAROK is designed to offer advanced technology at a low cost, perform long-range surveillance missions, and carry over 1.5 tonnes of weapons. It can fly for more than 24 hours and is equipped with electromagnetic sensors and radar. Bharat Forge will establish an AAROK production line in India to meet the significant needs of the Indian armed forces, ensuring local production and maintenance sovereignty. This collaboration aims to provide the Indian armed forces with a robust and scalable MALE UAV for a connected battlefield.
