BHEL Receives LOI from DVC for 2x660 MW Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station Phase-I Project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for the Steam Generator Island Package of the 2x660 MW Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station Phase-I project. The project is located in the Purulia district, West Bengal, India. The LOI was received on 10th February 2025. The scope of work includes supply and erection, testing and commissioning of Steam Generator and Auxiliaries, ESP, FGD systems, Ash Handling systems along with electrical and Civil & I works. The completion of facilities is expected within 48 and 52 months. The approximate size of the order is 6200 Crore excluding taxes and duties.
