BHEL Signs MoU with Nuovo Pignone International s.r.l. for Business Sharing in Fertilizer Sector

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nuovo Pignone International s.r.l. The agreement, signed on 09.04.2025, is for a period of ten years and aims to address Compressor Revamp opportunities in the Fertilizer sectors in India. BHEL will be the Main (Lead) bidder to the identified customers for addressing the Compressors train revamp business opportunities in the Fertiliser sector in India, and Nuovo Pignone International s.r.l. will be the nominated vendor to BHEL through the subject MoU with a definite scope of work. The strategic tie-up is expected to improve BHEL's market share in the fertilizer sector R&M business and address approximately 50% of the business share in financial terms.
