Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited Receives Order from Adani Power Limited for 2x800 MW Raigarh Phase-II Thermal Power Project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received an order from Adani Power Limited for setting up the 2x800 MW Raigarh Phase-II Thermal Power Plant at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The order includes the supply of equipment (boiler, turbine, generator, and associated auxiliaries) and the supervision of erection and commissioning. The equipment will be manufactured at BHEL’s Trichy and Haridwar plants, respectively. The time period for execution is 31 months for Unit-1 and 35 months for Unit-2, with an approximate consideration of 4000 Cr. excluding GST. No related party transactions are involved.
