Bharat Heavy Electricals Receives Order from Indian Railways for Design and Development of On-board KAVACH Equipment

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Government of India Undertaking, has received an order from Indian Railways (South Western Railway) for the design, development, supply, installation, trial, and commissioning of On-board KAVACH equipment in locomotives and trackside KAVACH equipment at station/LC/IB/ABS locations along with associated works. The order, valued at 22.87 Cr. incl. GST, is to be executed within 18 months. The Kavach Equipments will be manufactured at BHEL's Bengaluru plant.
