BPCL Amends MOA to Include Electronic Payment Systems

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has amended its Memorandum of Association (MOA) to include business activities related to electronic and virtual payment systems. This amendment follows the passing of necessary resolutions at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The expanded scope covers services like Unified Payments Interface (UPI), payment aggregation, e-wallets, mobile wallets, payment gateways, and various payment instruments, both domestically and internationally. This move signals BPCL's strategic intent to diversify into the digital payments sector.
