BharatRohan Develops Indigenous Hyperspectral Camera Prototype

BharatRohan Airborne Innovations Limited has successfully developed a prototype of its indigenous snapshot hyperspectral imaging camera. This development strengthens the company's 'Make in India' deep tech capabilities and its end-to-end drone and imaging technology ecosystem. The camera is designed for UAV platforms and captures detailed spectral information for applications in agriculture, defence, mining, and more. Field trials are scheduled to commence shortly, with further product refinement and commercial rollout planned. This move reduces dependence on imported technologies and expands BharatRohan's reach beyond agriculture into sectors like pharmaceuticals and environmental monitoring.
