Bharti Airtel Acquires 26% Stake in AMP Energy Green Three for INR 37.89 Crores

Bharti Airtel Ltd. has entered into an agreement to acquire 26% equity shares in AMP Energy Green Three Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle formed for owning and operating a captive power plant. The total consideration for the acquisition is INR 37,89 Crores. AMP Energy Green Three is a SPV of Amp Energy, established for developing a captive generating solar power plant in Rajasthan, which will become operational by Q2 of FY 2025-26. The revenue of AMP Energy Green Three in the preceding three years is NIL.
