Bharti Airtel, one of India's leading telecommunications service providers, announced it has 7.9 million customers using 5G service in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The company has successfully deployed 5G network across all cities and districts, leading to a significant increase in 5G users in the past 6 months. Airtel has extended its services across the entire state and plans to continue its rollout, previously completing coverage in iconic sites like Amaravati Stupa and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. The company attributes the rapid deployment and adoption of 5G to multiple factors including network enhancement, accelerated rollout, and growing availability of 5G devices. Airtel also collaborated with Poco to offer sub-10K 5G smartphones to make affordable devices accessible to users.
