Airtel Expands 5G Network with 2900+ New Sites in North India

Bharti Airtel has announced the deployment of over 2900 new 5G sites across the Upper North region of India in the past 12 months. This expansion covers Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, enhancing network coverage and speed for over 28.6 million customers. The company is activating more than eight new sites daily, aiming to improve connectivity for seamless streaming, remote working, and digital payments. This initiative is part of Airtel's ongoing investment to bridge connectivity gaps and support the region's digital transformation.
