Bharti Airtel Ltd: Promoter Group Entity Sells 1% Stake for ~Rs. 11,200 Crore

Bharti Airtel Ltd has announced that Indian Continent Investment Limited, a member of its promoter group, has sold approximately 1% shareholding (60 million shares) in the company. The transaction, which was conducted through a market transaction, amounted to nearly Rs. 11,200 Crore. The sale received strong orders from both domestic and international long-only investors, with placements primarily allocated to long-only investors. The proceeds from the sale will be used to strengthen the company's balance sheet and maintain a prudent leverage profile.
