The Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Ltd (BBTCL) has received a notice from the Tamil Nadu Forest Department regarding an ongoing judicial proceeding concerning its erstwhile tea estate. The notice includes a provisional computation of lease rent and other charges at Rs. 6,462.12 crore, which is subject to objections and final determination.
