
Borosil Ltd Faces Production Disruption Due to Middle East Conflict Impact on LPG Supply
Borosil Ltd has received a communication from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) regarding the restriction of LPG supply due to a force majeure situation arising from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This has resulted in the temporary suspension of production activities at the Company’s Borosilicate Glass Furnace for Pressware Products and its Opal Glass Furnaces, all located at Jaipur, Rajasthan. While the Opal Glass Furnaces are operating at lower capacities, the Borosilicate Glass Furnace has been completely shut down. The Company is actively coordinating with OMCs and the relevant government authorities to secure the supply of LPG and ensure continuity of production activities. The impact of this disruption is being evaluated by the Company, which is also actively monitoring the situation and will continue to update the stock exchanges with any material developments.
