Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd has been awarded two contracts with a total worth of Rs. 24.33 Crores. Both projects are high margin projects and are expected to be completed within 12 to 14 months. The first project involves Four-laning of Jorabat-Shillong (Barapani) section of NH-40(New NH-6) from 0.000 to km 61.800 in the state of Assam and Meghalaya on an item rate basis. The second project is about Procurement of works for Additional high priority underwater riverbank protection works (Section 1) and above water riverbank protection works (Section 2) in Lakhimpur (Dhakuwakhana, Bonpuroi), Biswanath and Sonitpur Districts, Package No. W9-LBS, Lot 3 under ADB’s Climate Resilient Brahmaputra Integrated Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Project in Assam.
