Tall Bridge Project of Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd Worth Rs. 116.59 Crores Successfully Tested
Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd announces the successful completion of testing for a tall bridge on the Bhairabi to Sairang new Broad Gauge (BG) Railway line project. The bridge, which is a part of a joint venture, has a contract value of Rs. 116.59 Crores. The testing was carried out in accordance with prescribed engineering standards and safety protocols, and it included comprehensive load testing, structural integrity assessments, and alignment verification. The Commissioner of Railway Safety has authorized operations at a maximum permissible speed of 90 km/h. The successful completion of this project is a significant advancement in the execution of the Bhairabi-Sairang broad gauge railway line project, which aims to enhance connectivity, facilitate economic development, and promote regional integration in the region. The project is set to be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi.
