Brookfield India REIT Calls EGM for Asset Acquisition on Sep 3

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust REIT has announced an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) for its unitholders, scheduled for September 3, 2026. The primary agenda is to consider and approve the acquisition of a project asset owned by Parthos Properties Private Limited. This involves purchasing a 50% effective stake in Parthos Properties, which owns three floors in Godrej BKC, Mumbai, from Project Diamond Holdings (DIFC) Limited and Project Cotton Holdings One (DIFC) Limited. The enterprise value for the 100% stake is ₹17,000 million, calculated at a discount to independent valuations. The meeting will also discuss the potential acquisition of the remaining 50% stake. The EGM will be conducted via video conferencing.
