Ion Exchange ties up with MANN+HUMMEL for UF & MBR tech transfer
Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. has executed a Technology Transfer Agreement with MANN + HUMMEL. This strategic collaboration involves the transfer of technology for manufacturing PVDF Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes and Integrated Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) systems. Ion Exchange will undertake manufacturing, system integration, and commercialization of these advanced membrane technologies at its expanded HYDRAMEM® facility in Goa. The agreement, entered in the ordinary course of business, is expected to bolster Ion Exchange's long-term strategic and technological objectives, offering an integrated portfolio, reducing import dependence, and ensuring improved supply reliability and faster delivery for customers. The consideration includes a technology transfer fee of 7.5% on revenue generated from the manufactured products.
