LIC: Sanjay Lohiya Appointed as Govt Nominee Director

The Government of India has nominated Shri Sanjay Lohiya, Special Secretary, DFS, MOF, as Government Nominee Director on the board of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) with effect from May 13, 2026, until further orders. This appointment is in place of Ms. Shalini Pandit, who ceases to be the Government Nominee Director from the same date. Consequently, Ms. Pandit also ceases to be a member of various committees, including the Executive Committee, Nomination & Remuneration Committee, Audit Committee, and Risk Management Committee.
