
Candour Techtex Secures First Trial Order from ADRDE for Parachute Fabrics, Wins Approval and Additional Order from Reliance Industries
Candour Techtex Ltd has announced that it has received its first trial order for 6,700 meters of laminated fabrics from the Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE) vendor, MS Oriental Weaving & Processing Mills Pvt Ltd. The fabric is designated for final supply to ADRDE Agra, a laboratory under DRDO, for parachute manufacturing. After rigorous inspection, the processed laminated fabric produced by the Company has met ADRDE standards and received their official approval. ADRDE has now approached the company directly for the supply of coated and laminated fabrics featuring various special coatings and laminations. ADRDE specializes in the research and development of aerial delivery systems, including parachutes, heavy drop systems, and aerostats. It plays an essential role in national defense, supporting both the Indian Armed Forces and space programs such as ISRO's Gaganyaan Mission. The company has also registered and gained approval on the Government E- Marketplace (GEM) portal, enabling official participation in tenders issued by DRDO, ADRDE, and multiple other government organizations. Additionally, the company received further orders from Reliance Industries Ltd for 100,000 meters of lamination work on automotive fabrics, valued at approximately Rs 100 lakhs. The Company expects completion of the same by March 2026.
