CG Power Acquires RF Component Business of Renesas Electronics: Obtains Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States Approval

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. has disclosed an update on the acquisition of the RF Component Business of Renesas Electronics America Inc. and other affiliate entities. The company had earlier announced the execution of the Definitive Agreement, i.e., Asset Purchase Agreement with Renesas for the acquisition. The acquisition was subject to the satisfactory completion of conditions precedent, including obtaining approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and other necessary regulatory and statutory approvals. The company is pleased to inform that the regulatory approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States has been obtained on 10th March, 2025 and received by them on 11th March, 2025.
