CG Power Commissions New EHV Switchgear Facility in Nashik

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. has commissioned its new Extra High-Voltage (EHV) switchgear manufacturing facility, S3 Unit-II, in Nashik. This facility expands the company's EHV circuit breaker manufacturing capacity by 80%, adding 7,200 units annually for breakers in the 33 kV to 245 kV range. The investment of Rs. 39.49 crore was funded through internal accruals. The new plant features advanced manufacturing and testing infrastructure, including high-voltage laboratories, and is designed to meet growing demand in domestic and international markets, supporting sectors like utilities, railways, and renewable energy. The facility also incorporates sustainable manufacturing practices.
