CG Power's Axiro invests in EdgeCortix for AI platforms

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Axiro Semiconductor Private Limited, has joined EdgeCortix, a leading fabless semiconductor company specializing in energy-efficient AI processing, as an investor and partner. This new investment, also joined by MPower Partners, will accelerate the development and commercialization of EdgeCortix's next-generation AI platforms, including its SAKURA-X chiplet-based platform. Axiro brings deep expertise in RF, mmWave, and advanced connectivity IC design, aligning with its strategy to build high-performance semiconductor solutions across telecom, satellite communications, defense, and expanding into AI-driven infrastructure, industrial systems, robotics, and consumer electronics. The partnership aims to strengthen Axiro's presence in telecom and wireless infrastructure while expanding into emerging global application areas. EdgeCortix's CEO highlighted Axiro's expertise and market presence in India as strategic value for collaboration and market expansion.
