Chambal Fertilisers: Independent Director Rita Menon's tenure extended

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd announced that its shareholders, at the Forty First Annual General Meeting held on September 1, 2026, approved the continuation of Mrs. Rita Menon as an Independent Director. Her tenure will extend until September 9, 2030, even after attaining the age of seventy-five. Mrs. Menon, an M.A. in Economics, has extensive experience in public administration and industrial development, having served in senior government positions and retired as Chairperson and Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organisation. She is not related to any company director and faces no debarment from regulatory authorities.
