Cipla Appoints Vikram Janakiraman as Global Chief Technical Operating Officer

Cipla Ltd announced the appointment of Mr. Vikram Janakiraman as the Global Chief Technical Operating Officer, designated as Senior Management Personnel. This appointment is effective from December 7th, 2026. Mr. Janakiraman brings approximately 30 years of extensive experience in consulting leadership and pharmaceutical operations. He previously served as Managing Director and Senior Partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) India, where he led significant practices and developed offerings in Manufacturing AI and Industry 4.0. Prior to BCG, he held leadership roles at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, overseeing global manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and capital projects, and driving operational improvements and regulatory compliance.
