Sudarshan Colorants Appeal Rejected; Company to File Further Appeal

Sudarshan Colorants India Ltd has received an Appeal Order from the Deputy Commissioner (S.T.) (Appeals), Vellore and Cuddalore Division, rejecting its appeal against a GST Demand Order dated April 30, 2024. The original Demand Order, for the year 2018-19, was for an aggregate amount of ₹5,11,48,556, including tax, interest, and penalty. The company states that the order is appealable and it is in the process of filing a further appeal. Sudarshan Colorants believes this will not have a material impact on its financial or operational activities.
