CleanMax and Nuvoco Partner on 46.4 MW Hybrid Project
CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Ltd. and Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. have partnered to develop a 46.4 MW wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project in Rajasthan. The project, comprising 20 MW wind and 26.4 MWp solar capacity with a 2-MWh Battery Energy Storage System, will supply clean energy to Nuvoco's cement operations under a group captive structure. Once operational, it's expected to generate approximately 100 million units of renewable electricity annually, significantly reducing Nuvoco's carbon footprint by avoiding an estimated 62,023 tonnes of CO₂ emissions under Scope 2 and 63,463 tonnes under Scope 1 annually. This collaboration aligns with Nuvoco's sustainability goals and its DIRE agenda, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing reliance on conventional power sources.
