Coal India Ltd. Receives Composite License Order from Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India

Coal India Ltd. (CIL), a Maharatna company and a government of India enterprise, has received an order from the Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India for a Composite license (prospecting and mining). The license is for the Khattali Chhoti Graphite Block located in Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh. The significant terms and conditions of the order include a mining premium of 150.05% of the value of mineral dispatched to be paid to the State Government. The time period for the execution of the mining lease deed is 3 years from the grant of the composite license. Neither the promoter/promoter group nor the group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order. The order does not fall under related party transactions.
