Coffee Day Enterprises: Supreme Court Directs NCLAT to Dispose of Appeal by 21.02.2025, Negotiations for Settlement Underway

Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd. has provided an update on the ongoing case with IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd. The Supreme Court, in a recent hearing on 31st January 2025, directed the NCLAT, Chennai to dispose of the appeal pending before it on or before 21.02.2025. In the event the appeal is not disposed of by then, the impugned order passed by the Appellate Tribunal shall stand vacated automatically. The arguments in NCLAT are ongoing, and in parallel, the parties are negotiating for a settlement. The settlement proposal is subject to the final approval of both parties and necessary documentation. The company has assured that it will take all necessary steps in the best interest of the company.
