Colgate India Sets Record for Largest Oral Screening Program

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd has set a new record for the 'Largest Multi-Location Oral Screening Programme', reaching over 3.08 lakh students in 10 days across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The initiative, conducted from August 17-28, 2026, involved 547 CBSE schools and partnered with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Indian Dental Association (IDA) of Tamil Nadu, and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This program, supported by 2,100 dentists and 29 dental colleges, also integrated preventive education on nutrition and substance abuse. It aligns with Colgate's 'Bright Smiles, Bright Futures®' program, which has reached over 200 million children since 1991. Shilpashree Muniswamappa, Director – ESG & Communications, highlighted the success of public-private synergies in scaling health interventions.
