
Colgate-Palmolive India Achieves 2025 Sustainability Goals
Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited announced the successful completion of its 2025 Sustainability & Social Impact Strategy and unveiled its 2030 SMILE Strategy. The company achieved significant progress in social and environmental action, including engaging ~195 million children through its Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® program and empowering over 237,000 beneficiaries with financial literacy. In terms of environmental goals, 100% of toothpaste manufactured in India now uses recyclable tubes, plastic waste neutrality was maintained at 101%, and carbon emissions were reduced by 43% compared to FY2020-21. Renewable electricity accounted for 60% of consumption, and all four manufacturing facilities retained TRUE Platinum Zero Waste certification. The company also remained Water Positive and achieved 95% recyclable, reusable, or compostable packaging.
