CAMS and IIT Madras Expand FinTech Innovation Lab
Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) and IIT Madras are expanding their collaboration through the CAMS IIT Madras FinTech Innovation Lab (CIFIL). Established in 2022 as a CSR initiative, CIFIL aims to foster innovation in financial technologies by combining CAMS' industry expertise with IIT Madras' research capabilities. The expanded focus will include emerging areas like AI in financial services, digital payments, blockchain, cybersecurity, WealthTech, and InsurTech. The partnership will also enhance support for fintech startups through mentorship, industry networks, and research collaborations, alongside expanding professional education programs in FinTech and Personal Financial Planning. A new MoU was signed on August 12, 2026, to formalize these expanded initiatives.
