Comrade Appliances Approves ₹8.16 Cr Preferential Issue

Comrade Appliances Limited announced the outcome of its Board Meeting held on October 13, 2026. The board approved a preferential issue of up to 24,00,000 equity shares at ₹34 per share, aggregating up to ₹8.16 Crore (₹8,16,00,000). This issue is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. Additionally, a Share Purchase Agreement was executed for the acquisition of 18,90,000 equity shares (24.30%) by Omnia Appliances Private Limited and others from promoter Mehboob Alam for ₹6.42 Crore (₹6,42,60,000). Omnia Appliances will become a promoter post-acquisition and open offer. A Preferential Issue Committee was constituted, and a draft postal ballot notice was approved.
