CONCOR and JNPA Sign MoU for Common Rail Handling Operations at Vadhvan Port

Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development and management of Common Rail Handling Operations for all upcoming container terminals at the proposed Vadhvan Port. The MoU was signed on 29th October 2025, in Mumbai during India Maritime Week 2025. CONCOR will act as the Common Rail Handling Operator, providing consultancy and operational support in rail coordination, infrastructure planning, and container handling at the common rail yard. The project involves an estimated investment of about 2500 Crores and is proposed to commence in 2030.
