
CONCOR Establishes Rail Connectivity, Moves First Double-Stack Rake with 180 TEUs
CONCOR, a leading logistics company, has established rail connectivity for the Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) at Varnama with the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) at New Makarpura Yard. This milestone was marked by the arrival of the First Double-Stack Rake with 180 TEUs arrived from CMLK to CGMV. CONCOR also formed a strategic partnership with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya and moved the first Block Rake of one of the world’s leading shipping line- CMA CGM to Mundra. The company also successfully dispatched its maiden Container Train laden with Rice meant for exports to Chennal International Terminal Pvt. Ltd (CITPL) and carried out the 1st movement of perishable cargo in Ice Battery- fitted containers by sea from Chennai to Sri Vijayapuram (Port Blair). CONCOR also moved its maiden Container Train with 90 containers, destined for ICD- Amingaon (Guwahati), laden with ‘Granulated Slag’ booked by M/s Tata Dureco, from newly inaugurated MMLP-Jajpur (GCT GCCJ).
