Craftsman Automation to Set Up New Plant in Chennai Metropolitan Area

Craftsman Automation Ltd. has announced the setting up of a new plant/unit/factory at the Chennai Metropolitan Area, Tamil Nadu. The decision was made by the Board of Directors of DR Axion India Private Limited, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company, at their meeting held on Wednesday, the 29th of October, 2025. The new plant will add 15% to the existing capacity, with an estimated investment of Rs. 280 Crores, 90% of which will be financed through a Term loan and the remaining through Internal accruals. The current facility at Othappai, Thiruvallur (Tamil Nadu) is fully occupied, and the new plant will provide sufficient space for phased expansion, easy access to skilled manpower, industrial infrastructure, and logistics support.
