Cressanda Railway Solutions Ltd: High Court Terminates Eastern Railway Contract, Company to Take Legal Action

Cressanda Railway Solutions Ltd has announced the termination of their contract with Eastern Railway by the Honourable High Court of Calcutta. The contract, which was set to run from 17th July, 2023 to 16th July, 2028, was terminated due to the railway authorities' failure to fulfill their contractual obligations. The company will be taking further legal action after discussing with the Board. The contract was for the provision of advertisement in EMU Trains and provisions of concierge service together with advertisement in Mail/ Express and Premium Trains operated with rakes whose primary maintenance is done by Eastern Railway, on license basis. The company had participated in the e-tender process and was awarded the work order on 17th May, 2023.
