Cummins India Ltd has disclosed that the Income Tax Department has filed appeals before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court challenging a previous order by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT). The ITAT had granted relief to the company concerning adjustments amounting to INR 210.77 crores. The company became aware of these appeals on July 8, 2026. While formal appeal papers are awaited, the company is making this disclosure based on available information. The estimated tax impact of this litigation is approximately INR 72.88 crores.
