Valor Estate Ltd. Announces Progress in Jijamata Nagar Slum Redevelopment Project with Prestige Estates
Valor Estate Limited, through its subsidiary, is undertaking a large-scale slum redevelopment project in partnership with Prestige Estates Projects Limited. The project, known as the Jijamata Nagar Redevelopment Project, is being executed on land owned by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. The Company has a 50% economic interest in the project, which involves the rehabilitation of approximately 4,029 residential/commercial structures and their occupants. Upon completion of the eviction process, the site will be ready for the construction of 'The Prestige Place', a world-class mixed-use development. The project is designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP and will be one of the largest urban renewal projects in South Mumbai.
