Darjeeling Ropeway Company Ltd. Proposes Alteration of MOA for Business Expansion

Darjeeling Ropeway Company Ltd. announced that its Board of Directors approved the alteration of the Object Clause of the Memorandum of Association (MOA) in a meeting held on 14th August 2025. The proposed amendment includes the insertion of Object Clause No. 36 to Object Clause No. 42 in the Main Object Clause 3(A) of the MOA, subject to the approval of shareholders at the Annual General Meeting scheduled on 19th August 2025. The company aims to expand its business activities to include trading, importing, exporting, supplying, manufacturing, assembling, distributing, and dealing in various sectors such as aviation spare parts, solar energy systems, electronic components, electric vehicles, information technology, agro and food products, and mechanical equipment.
