Madhav Shriram Acquires 30.93% Stake in DCM Shriram Industries

Shri Madhav Bansidhar Shriram has acquired a substantial 30.93% stake in DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. through an off-market inter-se transfer among promoters and immediate relatives. The transaction involved 2,69,06,382 equity shares and was executed on August 1, 2026. This move is part of a re-alignment and consolidation of shareholding within the promoter group and immediate family, including the dissolution of a HUF. The acquisition was made under exemptions provided by Regulation 10(1)(a)(i) & (ii) of SEBI (SAST) Regulations, 2011, and the necessary disclosure was filed with the stock exchanges on July 24, 2026, within the stipulated timeline. Madhav Bansidhar Shriram's shareholding increased significantly from 4.94% to 35.87% post-transaction.
