Alok Shriram Acquires 30.92% Stake in DCM Shriram International

Alok Shriram has acquired a 30.92% stake in DCM Shriram International Ltd. through an off-market inter-se transfer. The transaction involved 2,69,05,206 equity shares and was executed on August 1, 2026. This acquisition qualifies for exemption from making an open offer under Regulation 10(1)(a)(ii) of the SEBI (SAST) Regulations, 2011, as it is an inter-se transfer among qualifying promoters. The transferors were Mr. Madhav Bansidhar Shriram, Mrs. Urvashi Tilakdhar, and Lala Bansi Dhar & Sons (HUF). Following the transaction, Alok Shriram's shareholding increased significantly from 2.75% to 33.67%.
