DCM Shriram Ltd Commissions 2nd 300 TPD Flexi-fuel Flaker Plant at Jhagadia

DCM Shriram Ltd has commissioned a new 300 TPD caustic soda flakes plant at its flagship chemicals complex at Jhagadia, Bharuch district, Gujarat. This brings the total capacity of caustic soda flakes production at the Bharuch unit to 900 TPD, making it one of the largest single location caustic soda flakes producing units in the country. The plant, which is an identical twin of the unit commissioned last year, is flexi-fuel, allowing for multiple fuel choices and providing sustainability and driving efficiencies. Caustic soda, also known as sodium hydroxide, is a highly versatile and widely used industrial chemical with applications across various industries.
