DCM Shriram signs deal for 58 MW renewable power

DCM Shriram Ltd. has entered into a definitive agreement with Serentica Renewables India 38 Private Limited to secure approximately 58 MW of additional renewable power supply for its Bharuch plant. The company will invest up to ₹105 crore for a minimum 26% equity stake in the Special Purpose Vehicle. This initiative, along with others, will increase DCM Shriram's total renewable power capacity to 176 MW across its Bharuch and Kota sites. The project is expected to be commissioned by June 2027 and aims to enhance the sustainability of its chemical operations.
