Deccan Gold Mines Reports Potential Nickel-Copper-PGE Discovery in Chhattisgarh

Deccan Gold Mines Ltd. has reported a potential Ni-Cu-PGE discovery on its Bhalukona Nickel Project in Chhattisgarh. Rock chip and soil sampling has delineated a 700m long mineralised zone of nickel, copper, and platinum group elements (PGEs). The geological mapping has shown early evidence of a layered sequence of mafic-ultramafic rocks, similar to nickel deposits in Western Australia and Finland. A geophysical induced-polarisation (IP) survey has returned signatures suggesting multiple zones of sulphide mineralisation. The company plans to drill the primary target area and begin soil sampling after the local harvest season. This discovery could potentially place India on the global critical minerals map and support the country's journey towards self-reliance in critical mineral supply chains.
