Deepak Nitrite Subsidiary Settles ₹3 Lakh Penalty

Deepak Nitrite Ltd announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Deepak Chem Tech Limited (DCTL), has passed a Settlement Order with the Settlement Officer, Chief Inspector cum Facilitator for Factories, Ahmedabad. The order, dated August 25, 2026, pertains to a violation of Rule 102 of the Gujarat Factories Rules, 1963, under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Condition Code, 2020. DCTL has settled the matter by paying a penalty of ₹3,00,000. The company stated that this settlement will have no material financial impact beyond the penalty amount.
