Deepak Spinners Ltd. Amends MoA and AoA for Captive Power Generation

Deepak Spinners Ltd. has approved the amendment to the Memorandum of Association (MoA) and Articles of Association (AoA) of the Company via postal ballot, which concluded on January 30, 2026. The amendments are aimed at including enabling provisions for generation and consumption of electricity for captive use, in compliance with the Electricity Act, 2003 and relevant guidelines. The MOA's Object Clause was amended to include the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity and power derived from conventional/non-conventional methods for captive generation, captive consumption, and sale to third parties or state and central government. The AoA was altered to include provisions for Power Purchase Agreement, wheeling agreement, and projects for captive generation or supply of electricity to the state or central government.
